The name Hyatt is associated with luxury and affordability. This facility in San Antonio is no different. It is considered to be one of the best water parks in Texas. You get not only an indoor/outdoor heated family pool but also the 800-foot Rattlesnake Lazy River. This is a great way to enjoy some leisurely tubing down a slow-moving pool that goes a long way in melting away the stress of the day. No worries and no hurry await you, just a lot of time to relax in the water as you slowly de-stress and prepare for your next tourist attraction.

The Hyatt Residence Club San Antonio offers two amazing water activities. In Windmill Pool you can swim and sunbathe to your heart’s content, and you get both indoor and outdoor water slides in case you want to do more than just swim. Also included is a sauna, steam room, and outdoor spas in both the outdoor and indoor areas. The indoor areas are perfect for those times when the outside temperature is lower than expected, and it gives you a way to swim here all year long. We have been to this resort 3 summers in a row.

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines

The Hyatt Regency Lost Pines includes an on-site water park with a long, winding lazy river known as the “Crooked River Water Park. As you float through you can see some of the other attractions on the resort including a two-story water slide and an adults-only private pool.

The Hyatt Regency Lost Pines offers a variety of accommodations, including luxury poolside cabanas and private lagoons inside the Crooked River Water Park. The Hyatt Regency Lost Pines is on Lost Pines Road, right near the Colorado River and a short drive from McKinney Roughs Nature Park. Check-in time is 4 PM while check-out time is 11 AM. The water park is open from 8 AM to 10 PM.

The Woodlands Resort

The Woodlands Resort includes a sprawling pool complex called the Forest Oasis. The complex includes several large pools, water slides, and a lazy river. Along with the pools and 1,005 foot lazy river, The Woodlands Resort includes three guestroom buildings that surround the pool complex.

Each guestroom has luxurious, modern amenities, including cable TV and a small fridge. You can even rent a poolside cabana with direct access to the pools and lazy river. The Woodlands Resort is on North Millbend Drive in the Woodlands, Texas. The pool and lazy river are heated and open year-round and from 9 AM to 10 PM each day.

Water Park at The Villages

The Waterpark at the Villages is packed with fun water activities for the whole family. The lazy river that winds around the various pools and waterslides, as you float down the river, you and your kids can try to spot all the animal statues, such as bears and moose.

The waterpark includes several other attractions, including two body slides, two tube slides, and three kid slides. Other on-site activities and attractions include mini-golf, horseback riding, arcades, and fitness facilities. The Waterpark at the Villages is in Flint, Texas. It is open from 12 PM to 8 PM Wednesday to Sunday. The water park is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Several hotels and resorts also provide direct access to the park, including Waco Surf Hotel and Waco Surf Cabins. BSR Cable Park is in Waco, Texas. The lazy river is open between the hours of 11 AM and 7 PM.

Great Wolf Lodge

The Great Wolf Lodge is located outside of Dallas in Grapevine, Texas, and its water park is second to none. The lazy river is known as” Crooked Creek.” It is a comfortable, low thrill level ride that is perfect for kids or adults trying to relax. And because it’s indoor Great Wolf Water park remains a popular attraction year-round. The water park offers rides and attractions such as the Alberta Falls, which allows you to tube your way down a giant slide; the Fort Mackenzie, which looks like a huge water fort; and the Raccoon Lagoon, which allows you to enjoy some outdoor swimming fun as well.

Great Wolf Lodge also has a lot of great places to eat. ALsa Build-a-Bear store, an arcade, a ropes course, and even a mining company where you can find great gems of all types.. You can even order passes online so that you’re all prepared to go once you get there!

Schlitterbahn Water Park and Resort is world-renowned for its amazing water rides and lazy river. This premiere Texas water resort they have several lazy rivers including the:  Dulge, Cliffhanger Tube Shoot and, Congo River Expedition. You can get a season pass for as low as $105. It allows you to visit the water park as much as you like all summer long. Their many rides include the Bahnzai Pipeline, the Dragon’s Lair Heated Pool, Kristal Cove, the Master Blaster Uphill Water Coaster, and the Soda Straw Body Slide. You also get shopping and dining opportunities. There are plenty of places nearby to stay overnight, in case you decide to stay there for a while! 

Epic Waters Grand Prairie

The Epic Waters Grand Prairie is the largest indoor water park with the longest lazy river in Texas. The lazy river is known as “The Rio Grande” and is a perfect combination of relaxing calm waters and rapid currents to add some excitement. 

The facility has cabanas, places to eat, and tons of rides and attractions. It includes the Aquanaut, the TexasTwist, a great wave pool, the E-Racers, the Lasso Loop and one of the greatest lazy rivers in the State of Texas. This amazing water park offers so much to do that it takes some people several days to see it all.
